Wainui was purchased in 1985, and since then, has been developed by NAPCO into one of Australia's most modern and efficient feedlots.
The Wainui aggregation includes an irrigation and dry-land farm, where grain and silage is produced for feedlot use.

| Operations: | Geoff started employment with NAP at Marion Downs, and worked at the feedlot and NAP Brisbane Office before becoming Feedlot Manager in 2001. Wainui feeds cattle for various grainfed markets, and turns off approximately 30,000 cattle annually. Feedlot rations are mixed on-site using grain processed through a modern steam flaking feedmill. The feedlot employs approximately 16 staff, including feed millers, stock-people and farmers. The feedlot and farm is certified to the ISO 140001 specifications for Environmental Management Systems. |
