Coorabulka
Coorabulka is located between the Georgina and Diamantina River systems in Queensland's Channel Country. It adjoins other NAPCO properties, Marion Downs to the west and Monkira to the south. A quarter of the property is flood-out country and the balance predominantly open Mitchell and Flinders grass downs.

John and Tracey Powell took over management of Coorabulka in 2009. Prior to this posting John was the overseer at Herbert Downs, an outstation of Marion Downs in the Channel Country. Coorabulka is a grower property for weaners. Cattle from breeder properties are sent to Coorabulka for growing out prior to sending them to backgrounding properties or directly to the Wainui Feedlot. Up to eight people work on the property during the season. |
