Cungelella
Cungelella is approximately 54000 acres of developed Brigalow country with Buffel grass as the predominant pasture species and averages 700mm annual rainfall. Steers from Queensland's Channel Country and the Northern Territory breeder properties are sent to Cungelella prior to entry into Wainui feedlot.

Cungelella was acquired by NAPCO in 2006 and has been managed by Jason and Donna Collins since 2001. The property usually is operated by 4 permanent staff and supported by casual staff during peak work periods. Mustering is carried out with the assistance of a helicopter to move cattle over blade ploughed country. The ground team carries out most stock movement on horseback. |
